The Wales under 14 team won the Quadrangular tournament held in Liverpool on the 6 & 7 December, beating teams from Scotland and two English regions: the Midlands and the North. In the under 16s Wales finished joint first, losing on a tie-break, and in the under 12s, we came third, just half a point behind Scotland.
The final scores were as follows:
U16 Scotland 9.5, Wales 9.5, North 9, Midlands 8
U14 Wales 17, Midland 16, Scotland 15.5, North 11.5
U12 North 21, Scotland 15, Wales 14.5, Midlands 9.5.
The individual scores out of three were:
