Terafinal successes in 2015

At the Terafinal of the Delancey UK Schools Chess Challenge there were four players from Wales, with Imogen Camp placing highest. She came joint 14th with a score of 11/18 (three points for a win, one point for a draw). Ethan Chung and Ifan Rathbone-Jones both scored 6 points, and Duncan MacDonald 4 points.

 

Welsh players also produced promising results in the Challengers sections that run simultaneously. The highest scores came from Emily Wang and Merlin Davies, who both netted 9 points. Also picking up points and gaining valuable experience at this level were Harrison Postans, Hiya Ray, Ashika Shahmeeran, and Dylan Meek.
